Braised Pork, Kritharaki and Feta

    5 Min

    Heat a heavy based pot until smoking. Add half the olive oil and pork and cook until completely browned. Remove meat and set aside.

    Add remaining olive oil and sweat onions and garlic until soft.

  3. Step

    2 Hour

    Add pork, cinnamon, tomatoes and chicken stock.

  4. Cover and braise in oven at 170° (220°F, Gas Mark 2) for 2 hours until pork is tender.

    20 Min

    Stir in kritharaki pasta, kefalo gravure cheese and bake for a further 20 minutes.

    Remove from the oven and stir in feta and butter. Season with salt.
