Chocolate and Fig Baklava

Delicious food ,make it fast .

Mix together walnuts, figs, chocolate and cinnamon in a bowl and other all the ingredients and Cook it Fast.

Method

  1. Step

    0 Min

    Mix together walnuts, figs, chocolate and cinnamon in a bowl. Brush tray with clarified butter and cover the base completely with filo, allowing an overhang on the edge. Continue to add layers of filo, buttering between each sheet, until half the packet of filo is used.

    Spread half the walnut mixture on to the filo, then repeat with the filo layers (still buttering in between each layer) until the whole packet is used. Fold in sides of filo.

    Top with the remaining walnut mixture. Repeat with the filo layers (buttering in between each layer), using another 1/2 to 3/4 packets filo.

    20 Min

    Cut into 32 pieces and give it a light sprinkle of water. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for 1 hour and 20 mins. Remove and allow cooling.

  5. Step

    5 Min

    For syrup, bring ingredients to boil and simmer for 5 mins. Pour the hot syrup in between the cuts of the cooled baklava and allow to stand over night. Do not refrigerate.
