Spice Biscuits Is A Simply Tasty.

Place butter & sugars together in a mixing bowl mix until light & fluffy,Sift flour, bi-carb, spices & salt, together, Preheat oven to 1800 c, cut log into 5mm slices.

Method

  1. Step

    10 Min

    Place butter & sugars together in a mixing bowl mix until light & fluffy, add egg & treacle & mix well.

    10 Min

    Sift flour, bi-carb, spices & salt together, add to creamed mixture and mix well till evenly combined.

  3. Step

    30 Min

    Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on your work bench and from dough into a log, 15cm long & 4cm in diameter, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, refrigerate for 30mins or can be frozen for later use.

  4. Step

    5 Min

    Preheat oven to 1800 c, cut log into 5mm slices.Pure demerara sugar into a bowl, dip slices into sugar one side only,

    Place sugar side up, on baking tray, space well apart bake 8-10 mins or till golden.Leave biscuits to cool on tray for 5 mins, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
