Traditional Vanilla Custard

This Is Simply Delicious Food, Make It and Serve.

Add double cream, milk, egg yolks, cornflour, Gradually pour hot mixture onto the sugar mix, whisking constantly. caster sugar and other ingredients. Then cook it fast and serve.

Method

  1. Step

    Put the cream and milk into a large pan and gently bring to just below boiling point.

    In another large bowl, whisk egg yolks, cornflour, sugar and vanilla.

    Gradually pour hot mixture onto the sugar mix, whisking constantly.

    5 Min

    Place mixture into a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring with a wooden spoon until custard is thickening, but before any lumps form.
