Upside Down Plum Cake

This Is Simply Delicious Food, Make It Fast.

Preheat oven to 1800 C. Use a sharp knife to slice the cheeks from the plums & discard the stones.Melt half the butter,Add half the sugar ,Sift the flour.

Method

  1. Step

    10 Min

    Preheat oven to 1800C. Use a sharp knife to slice the cheeks from the plums & discard the stones. Toss the plum and lemon juice in a bowl.

  2. Step

    2 Min

    Melt half the butter in an oven proof non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Transfer the plums & juice to the pan and cook gently for 2 minutes.

  3. Step

    50 Min

    Add half the sugar & half the vanilla extract & cook until the juice start to caramelize. Set aside. Cream together the remaining butter & suger until light & fluffy. Add the egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition, then add the remaining vanilla extract.

  4. Step

    10 Min

    Sift the flour, baking powder, cinnamon & a pinch of salt into a bowl and then fold into the batter.
